I have been teaching for 26 years, mostly in the upper grades (3rd-5th). I teach at a wonderful school with enough economically disadvantaged students to be classified as a Title I school. We have a significant EL population as well. My teaching passions are math and science. I love to read and share fabulous literature with my students, but it is not my favorite subject to teach! I love to learn and embrace new technologies. This year I will be implementing a 1:1 iPad classroom The use of these will be my challenge this year. I started using Edmodo two years ago with great interest and relative success. I am looking forward to increasing the ways I utilize all of its features.
