About Mr. Jorge E. Madrigal

I teach Social Studies to newly arrived students from Latin America. I would like to think that not only do I teach them history, but also that I am helping them in the acculturation process. I would like for them to learn about civic responsibilities, democracy, and how to empower themselves in order for them to live productive lives, not only for themselves, but as members of our society.
This year, I have been given a great honor and named an Apple Distinguished Educator. My high school is a 1 to 1 iPad high school and my classes are completely paperless.
