I am a 5th grade language arts (reading, writing, and grammar)teacher at Quail Run Elementary in Warner Robins, GA, and I absolutely love what I do! Working with 50 - 60 energetic children comes with its challenges, but it helps that I am basically a big child, too! Throughout our exciting year, we will read many great books, write splendid stories and essays, break down the English language as best we can, play kickball, 4-square, and football for fun...not money, laugh constantly, and a whole lot more!

I choose to teach because it is...fun! I know that is a boring word, but it sums up my thinking quite well. Sure, I get the chance to change lives, impact the future, watch tiny lightbulbs illuminate, and other stuff...but, that is fun, too!
