Ms. Williams has been named to the Who's Who Among American Teachers three times. In 1980, she earned a BS degree in Business Administration with a secondary major in French from the University of Delaware. Her MA in Educational Leadership was completed in 2005 and doctoral coursework was completed in 2010 from Immaculata University. In addition, she has earned 9 certifications - Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, K-12 Business and Technology, K-12 Family & Consumer Sciences, 9-12 English, 7-9 Math, Special Education, K-12 Principal, and Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction.

Prior to entering education, Ms. Williams was in sales and marketing of construction products and also general contracting. She joined the Pottstown School District in 2001 as an 8th grade French teacher and then taught K-6 gifted support and 6-8 Instructional Support. Other assignments in other districts have included teaching K-5 gifted, pre-algebra, 7th grade learning support, 7th grade direct math instruction, Accounting I, Personal Finance, Microsoft Office, Preschool Lab, Food Science, and Independent Living. Currently, Ms. Williams is teaching 6th grade at Gwynedd Square Elementary School in Lansdale and will also continue teaching Carnegie Mellon C-MITES workshops in the Lower Merion and Unionville Chaddsford School Districts in the fall and spring each year.

Outside of school, Ms. Williams is a Business and Financial Management Board member at the Berwyn Fire Company and enjoys scrapbooking. She resides in Chesterbrook and has two daughters. One will graduate The Ohio State University as a hospitality management major/ business minor in December 2012 and the other daughter graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto in 2011 and is a server, host, and Brand Ambassador for Joe's Crab Shack in King of Prussia.
