I was born in San Antonio, Texas. Lived in San Antonio for a number of years before moving to Houston. I moved to Coldspring Texas where I finished high school. I then moved to Huntsville Texas and attended Sam Houston State University. I received a BAT with a Physical Education minor. Moved back to San Antonio and taught Elementary PE for 13 years. Twelve of those years were at Woodstone Elementary and one year at Wetmore (opened up a new school).
