I am certified to teach music PreK - 12.The first part of my career was spent teaching choral music for grades seven through twelve. I was part of a four- teacher team that lead 30 high school students on a 10- day tour of British Columbia. I moved to New England and now teach elementary music, pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. I've become certified in Orff-Schuwerk and Technology Institute for Music Education (TI:ME). I sing with the Concord Chorale of New Hampshire. We have toured coastal communities of Nova Scotia. This past summer we toured Croatia. We started the concert tour in Zagreb and proceeded down the Istrian and Dalmatian coast to Dubrovnik. Why Global Read Aloud? I love to read! ...and hope to have students compose some music inspired by the story, using GarageBand on laptops.
