I teach because I love working with kids and I love the subject that I teach. I tell my students that it's a lot easier to get up in the morning when you enjoy what you do for your life's work. I live by this! The day I don't enjoy what I am doing is the day I pack up and leave the classroom. School is hard enough and it's much worse if kids have teachers that don't love being in the classroom.

Because I am a Technology Education teacher I have all kinds of neat toys and gadgets! Yes, I am a geek! But, how many teachers get to teach their classes how to fold a paper airpalne and make it fly and do tricks, launch rocktes, play and write music, tear things apart and put them back together? It's what I love!
