A Little About ME!
I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia. My love for technology started at the tender age of twelve. My sister was an IT major at Georgia Tech and began teaching me the fundamentals of engineering and technology while she attended. My high school years were filled with cheerleading, track and field and friends. I was actively involved in extra-curricular's as a student in high school as well as college. I attended the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Management Information Systems. As a college student I was a Vice President of the campus technology student organization, in addition, I served as a student member of my College's Advisory Board. Prior to teaching, I was a senior IT financial systems auditor for a Big 4 Accounting Firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Although that career was fulfilling, I decided to make a career change and seek an opportunity where I could bring my passion for technology to the community, thus I became a teacher at Arabia Mountain High School. In my free time I enjoy looking at fashion trend blogs, watching the world news, listening to music and going to fitness classes. I believe every student should understand the dynamic changes in the industry of engineering and technology and I look forward to bringing a positive outlook on the industry to your child. This will be a great year!
