Hello, my friends. This is Mr. Walker from Princeton Community Middle School. This is my 18th year, and I'm excited about 2012-2013. I want to give a shout out to all those tech-savvy people who help bring technology into the classroom. Heck, when I started out in '95, cell phones were the size of shoeboxes...and you couldn't text or shoot video! In addition to teaching language arts, I also coach wrestling and track and am the yearbook advisor. I really want to bring technology into the classroom this year and am looking for meaningful ways to do just that. Cell phones, iPads, and the like will be welcome during certain instructional periods. Among other things, we will focus on reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and on being effective communicators in the written as well as oral forms. Again, I'm looking forward to a great school year. Go Vikes!
