My name is Megan McCoy and I am the Technology Coordinator at a pre-k -8 grade school in Bensenville, IL. I am not only tech suppport but I also teach technology to each grade. I am blessed to have grades 3-8 three times a week for 45 minutes, which allows us to get a lot done. I see my younger students twice a week for 45 minutes. My 5th-8th grade students are all on Edmodo and are loving how easy it is to turn in assignments and ask questions outside of class. I would love to collaborate with other classes and maybe start blogging too. We are a Catholic school so I would also like to collaborate on religious projects as well as academic projects. It is very encouraging to see how many free Web 2.0 tools are available for us to use in the classroom and am inspired on a daily basis at how other teachers are using them on Edmodo.
