I have been teaching art for 20 years, 4 of those years have been at the high school level, and the remainder at the junior high / middle school level. I have my MFA and considered being an art professor at a university, but really enjoy teaching the younger levels. I enjoy photography, walking, beading and making jewelry, baking and hiking in the mountains and drawing. (My profile pic is one page of a book I illustrated with Maggie and Ross's photos in each drawing.) I am from Indiana, but moved to the West for my first teaching position in Arizona, and this is also where I met my husband, my children were born and we owned our first home. It wasn't long after we moved to Colorado and most positive this is where we will reside for many years.
