    Mrs. Geiser - 1. I think that kids have trouble reading because they need to quiet their senses (hearing, touch) and focus on what they're reading.
    2. I think that kids have trouble reading because they don't have a culture of reading at home.
    3. I think that kids have trouble reading because they haven't found books that THEY LIKE at their reading level.

    Mrs. Geiser - After grading your assignment above, here is a list of the reasons why students in room 216 think that kids don't remember or understand what they read:
