I was born and raised in southeast Michigan, as the youngest child of 4. I received my undergrad degree from Northwestern, and then taught for several years in Chicago and then in China prior to joining Ogden in 2010. In my free time, I enjoy sports (especially cheering on Northwestern athletics), reading, playing the guitar, working on my house, and politics. I am married and recently was blessed with my first child.
