I am passionate about trying to make connections with my students hoping to make school a place you want to attend and not a place you have to attend. I loved high school and had a wonderful experience, but know that is not the case for many of you. I was raised by a dad who was a principal and a mom who made fabulous homemade cookies and matching dresses for my sisters and I. I didn't know how much I would love teaching until my first day in a 7th grade classroom in Upland,Ca. From that day forward, I have loved my chosen profession and have strived to make high school a rewarding and memorable time for you.

I really enjoy living on the Gold Coast after having lived in the Inland Empire for over twenty years while raising my three wonderful children, Garrett, Chad and Lauren. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomoma with a single subject degree and credential in English and recently got a masters degree from CSUN in Secondary English Education.

When I am not in the classroom here at Pacifica, I can be found at the district office administrating the Tobacco Use Prevention Grant. Please feel free to call me anytime to share educational philosophies or to just vent. I beleive in communication of all kinds!
