About Mr. Joseph Almeida

I absolutely love mathematics. It is an excellent vehicle for teaching how to solve problems. In addition to my role as Sixth Grade Mathematics Teacher at KIPP STAR Middle School and KIPP NYC Mathematics Working Group Official Point Person, I am a Student Achievement Partners Fellow. This non-profit organization was founded and is led by the lead authors of the Common Core State Standards. I am also a part of the America Achieves Fellowship for Teachers and Principals.
