I am a life long learner who is passionate about teaching. I enjoy experimenting with innovating approaches to the classroom and like to take risks if it leads to increased student engagement.
I am Visual Arts teacher who strongly believes in imparting workplace skills on my students that will enable them in a 21st Century world.
Creative thinking and problem solving are skills that can be gained through Visual Arts and I love seeing my students make links between concepts and ideas.
After winning the 2010 NSW Ministers Quality Teaching Award, my confidence in my expertise as a teacher has been rewarded and am really proud of my achievements.
I have just completed my Masters of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design.
