I was born and raised in Chicago and grew up in the Curie neighborhood. In fact, I played soccer on the fields and courts of Curie, and took swimming lessons in the pool. I went to St. Laurence High School and participated in many many activities while there. I graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education. I am currently working towards my Masters of Arts in Math Education at DePaul University. It's quite expensive but I'll be done very soon.

I currently coach the boys' and girls' JV soccer teams.

I'm a huge Superman, Batman, Manchester United, and Chicago Fire fan.
