As a teacher leader in her school district, Lauren developed a passion for educational improvement, leading workshops for fellow teachers and pursuing a master’s degree in education. Assigned to teach middle school Science and high school French, she developed rigorous projects that captured students’ interests. As Professional Services Coordinator at BIE, she coordinates the planning and implementation of PBL professional development workshops and follow-up coaching.
