I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I earned a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from California University of PA. My husband also went to Penn State and is a teacher at Mooresville High School and we adore our two children, Dylan who is three and Lia who is one!
This is my 4th year at Brawley making it my 8th year in teaching with two years teaching 9-12 graders Biology and Earth Science and two years teaching 5th graders math and science. This year I will be working with my WIN students in continuing paper recycling at Brawley and starting a seed garden and compost bin. *Anyone have a greenhouse they would like to donate??* :o)
