I am working with 6th, 7th and 8th graders to provide support in their classes as well as to help them become better readers and writers.

A little about me...I grew up in New jersey and moved to South Carolina when I was in middle school. I fell in love with Charleston when I was young vacationing here so when deciding on a college, College of Charleston was my top choice. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and soon after went back to CofC to obtain a masters degree in Special Education. I taught elementary school for two years before I came to Haut Gap. I have been here for five years! Can't believe how time flies!

I love teaching and I love seeing my students having fun while learning. It is them that puts a smile on my face everyday. Also them that initiate constant reflection upon my own teaching and how I can be more effective. My students deserve the most nourishing learning environment! I strive everyday to be the best teacher for them!
