Mr. Picardo, people look far too much in names. Web 2.0 companies don't have to have names that mean anything :) ed is for education, your correct, modo is just a play off the popular gadget site http://gizmodo.com and i liked the ring to edmodo :) plus i could get the domain

I just wanted to shared something that one of my students posted... She has been very enthusiastic about Edmodo, and kept thanking 'Edward' in her notes to the group. I eventually asked who this Edward was. She replied: "Mr.COPLEY! EDMODO !!! why wud sum1 name a website EDMODO if his name is not EDWARD MOLINA DOSANTOS! ? or something similar liek tht? ???!!!!!!" Ha ha ha! I'm stilling giggling about that. I don't suppose any of you guys behind Edmodo *is* called Edward Molina Dosantos?!!

Only teachers can put events or assignments in a clendar. Students do not have that feature.

Mr. Pacheco, when you post an assignment or an event, those items go to your timeline & also get posted on the calendar.
