My name is Dana Vega and I am an 8th grade ELA and Journalism teacher at South View Middle School. This is my 10th year teaching and I could not imagine doing anything else. I love my students and all that they bring to my life. I have taught 5th, 6th and 8th grade and eventually hope to try high school. I earned my BS in Middle Grades Education at Fayetteville State University, my MA Ed. in Elementary Education at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, my National Board Certification in 2010, and hope to begin working on my doctoral degree in the near future.
