I've been a teacher for the past 5 years--specializing in Science and Technology. I worked at West Ashley High School for 4 of those years teaching Anatomy & Physiology, Biology and Physical Science. This past year I worked with the district to design and implement SMART Notebook lessons following the Mastery Teaching Model.

We welcomed our son, Jack, to our little family in October 2010--instantly I knew I needed to pursue a path that would still keep me in touch with the education community but would allow me to work from home. That's where the Educational Technology Department stepped in! I am now working to develop workshops and training sessions for teachers across the district (including those for edmodo!)
