I was born and raised in Petoskey, Michigan. After graduating from Alma College, I taught in the Lansing area for 4 years. When my husband got a job in Harbor Springs, we decided to return to my hometown. I have taught at Boyne City Public Schools for two years. I had a daughter last fall, Liza. This year I'm beginning the adventure of teaching 8th grade social studies!

BCPS is in the midst of exciting times with our 1:1 iPad initiative that we'll roll out in the fall of 2012. We plan to give each student an iPad from Kindergarten-Grade 12.
