Welcome to Ms. Harrell's Edmodo site. It is my philosophy that children leave elementary music confident in their ability to participate in music throughout their lifetime. I work to develop their ability to read, write, and perform music both vocally and instrumentally.

These skills are developed in the students through singing songs, playing singing games, dancing folk dances, playing percussion instruments and recorders, both through reading music and improvisation, and listening and studying music of great composers.

My goal is for my students to leave my classroom humming a song they’ve learned in class, and to take that joy with them throughout the day.
