About Mrs. Annette Durbin
I am a fourth grade teacher at Pioneer Peak Elementary. I have been fortunate to teach in a variety of settings (PK-6: public, private, optional, Title I, homeschool, and higher education) throughout my career.
I graduated from The Ohio State University (1989) with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Wilmington College (1993) with a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, earned National Board Certification (2005) specializing in Middle Childhood/Generalist, Walden University (2009) with a Master degree in Educational Leadership, University of Alaska (2010) with a K-12 principal certificate, and Walden University as a current doctoral candidate in Administrative Leadership: Teaching and Learning. My research interests focus on instruction, assessment, technology, and school improvement.
I look forward to working with colleagues as lifelong learners eager to embrace local challenges, collaborate, find solutions, and focus on sustaining a continuous goal to increase student learning and achievement.
One who learns from one who is learning . . . drinks from a running stream.
